Finally a touch of summer..

Good evening.

We finally got ourselves a little touch of a summer yesterday.
The sun was shining and not much of a wind about. A great day for going into town to meet the other girls that I mentioned in the previous post.

We got the a bus into town but it wasn't the normal one which meant we had to walk quite a bit more than expected to get where the girls were.
In total it took us about 1,5 hours to get there!

Anyway, the girls were nice and the kids cute. Leon was by far the youngest around.
We went to a nearby park and soaked up the sunshine.
I think my little one got a bit sunburnt on his cheeks as he's a little bit red but not too bad.
I did put some sunscreen oil on him that Jeni brought so hopefully that protected him from the worst.

This morning Mr. T started work early. At 2.15am he got up which meant he couldn't do his normal night shift with Leon.
So last night I prepared everything for a night with Leon in the bedroom.
I brought the bottles and a Thermos with hot water in order to dissolve the formula without messing about with the kettle in the kitchen.
To my amazement it all worked out much better than expected. Leon woke up twice and ate without me needing to leave the bedroom. After each feed he quickly went back to sleep.
I don't feel too tired today and I hope that things will be just as good tonight but you never know.
