Yes, my beloved mother will be here tomorrow.
Leon's granny.
Mr T's mother-in-law.
Happiness is the only way to describe it.
Today a parcel sent from the folks arrived containing cheese sausages, dried reindeer meat for the adults, nappies and cuddly toys for Leon.
But as I said before..the real gem will be here tomorrow.
Can't wait. Need to shower. Need to clean the flat.
Happy days!

A blueish feeling...
Hello.
I haven't been updating as I should...again.
But I've just haven't had the energy or desire to do so.
Have I got the January blues as I've heard of? Well, I don't know but I've been feeling very low and not in a mood of doing anything.
My energy levels are zapped somehow and I've been feeling trapped and restless.
Just fed up with the situation in general.
How do I come about to feel like this? Don't I've got everything that I'd always dreamt of?
The so much longed after child? A "nice" hubby? A decent home?
Dunno if I'd ever dreamt of a decent home but definitely of a child. So why this feeling of restlessness and eagerness to do something else?
Bored of being at home all day, changing a million nappies, listening to crying and feeling like a frumpy old tart in my tracksuit bottoms.
Too windy and rainy to go out. Too small and cramped to stay indoors.
Aaahh, it's never enough is it one may say.
Well, I reckon it's just a phase I'm going through.
But I so miss having adult company.
And some time to myself.
And a romantic husband wouldn't go amiss either.
If you don't water the flower it will die wont it?
Anyway, nuff off this moaning. Just nice to let off some steam once in a while.
Take no notice.
Please.

The big bounce!
Hi there.
Finally I've got some spare time to update my blog.
Back from Sweden...unfortunately. I really wish that I could have stayed a bit longer this time.
It's been so nice to have mum and dad's extra hands to help out with little Leon.
And he loves the attention he's getting while we've been there.
Both flights there went really well except for a short screaming fit from Leon on the first one.
It only lasted for about 3 minutes but when one's on a plane it does feels a bit longer.
Anyway, that was quickly resolved by a nappy change and some close cuddle before he nodded off again.
Once in Sweden the stream of people visiting seemed never-ending even for being in Xmas times.
Leon take visits very well but I do think it affects him later during the night.
It takes a few days to get into being in a new place and new people I suppose so the first couple of night were a nightmare.
He was moaning, crying and generally pissed. He scratched his head silly in his sleep which meant I had to lay all night in one position holding his hands!
Once morning came I went downstairs to "drop him off" with mum and dad and went back to bed for some undisturbed sleep.
This pattern stayed with us for the entire visit. Well, the "drop off's" did but thankfully he'd slept a wee bit better in the second week so holding his hands all the night wasn't necessary....only half... :D
It's been quiet and relaxing to spend Xmas with my folks.
I remember being a kid and the whole house was filled with rellies with a Xmas table could have feed a platoon.
None of that happened this year though, or have actually happened in a very long time but who know what will happen in a few years.
No, this year, me, my folks and Leon ate a quiet dinner that more resembled a normal dinner at home. Only difference was that there was Xmas food on the plates.
Sooo nice...
When our two weeks were up it was time to fly back home to Dublin again.
For the first time, maybe ever, I really felt bad for saying goodbye to my folks at the airport. Maybe Leon is the reason for this. I just know how much they love him and misses him when we're gone.
The flight from Luleå to Stockholm was delayed which meant that my connecting flight to Dublin was out of the window.
To make a very long story short.... I ended up having to stay in Stockholm for the night only to fly out to Dublin via Frankfurt early the morning after.
There was loads of trouble with Leon's food as I didn't brought much spare with me but in the end everything turned out okay and we'd got home on time the day after.
Not pleased though to have to do this detour when you've spent dear money on flights to get from A to B easiest possibly...and to add misery to it all I got a murdering cold the day before departure.
Here are a few pictures from Sweden and a little video of Leon.
He likes to watch a DVD with "Little People" by Fisher Price and one of the episodes is called "The big bounce" and is about a kangaroo.
Just look at the little love! My dear friend Sofia lent us this when we got to Sweden and he's been jumping around ever since! :D
